Archuleta hangs on for another week on ‘American Idol’

Jason Castro, the 20-year-old dreadlocked Texan who crucified two Bobs in one night of “American Idol,” was kicked off during tonight’s episode with the lowest votes, leaving Utah’s David Archuleta one step closer to winning television’s most popular show.
Three now remain standing, including Missouri’s David Cook and Syesha Mercado of Florida, along with the 17-year-old Murray High School junior.
