Archuleta gets Back to Where he Once Belonged

David Archuleta is back, baby! The Murray High School student, who’s wending his way to the top of the “American Idol” ranks, used The Beatles’ “The Long and Winding Road” to bring his vocal prowess back to the people.
After flubbing a few lines in a disastrous performance of “We Can Work It Out,” David, 17, was spot on last week, perhaps even a little too safe with his vocal runs. He was safe for the week, while the skunk-punk lady, Amanda Overmyer, was booted with the fewest votes.
